Public Records Searching Webinar:  Public Record Database Use in the Legal Field, presented by Tracers Information Specialists, Inc.

About our Presenter: Shauna Gaus, VP of Tracers.  Tracers provides access to billions of public records and proprietary data sources throughout the world and has a hands-on approach to solving unique data requirements for attorneys and paralegals needs. Previously, Shauna was a co-founder of a Learning Management System (LMS) which delivered comprehensive compliance training for healthcare organizations including medical groups, clinics, hospitals and ACOs. She oversaw the creation of over 1,000 lessons including HIPAA, CMS, and OSHA. This redefined the way healthcare organizations train, assess, and develop their human capital. It is contracted by healthcare organizations of all sizes in the U.S. for workforce training, learning, development, credentialing and managing educational programs.

Webinar Learning Objectives  - Join this Lunch n Learn Webinar and learn more about the following objectives which may be applicable to a variety of practice areas:

  •  Law Firms have long used public records search data to find persons of interest, witnesses, defendants and debtors, even to research potential jurors or businesses. For some practice areas, search needs have expanded to include social media profiles. Todays advanced search capabilities can be applied to everyday casework.
  • How Public Records can help locate assets and help to enforce judgments. How they can be used to establish or challenge the authenticity of documents.
  • How Criminal conviction records can be used to impeach witnesses and how Public Records can be used to locate address and phone records to help identify name and location of witnesses for depositions and/or trial.
  • How a Social Media Report helps Law Firms build stronger cases, save time and cut costs for online discovery. Including Behavior Recognition, Activity Monitoring, Location Tracking, Relationship Analysis and Data Mapping
