Crystal E. Hinojos, Paralegal at Altus Law

Crystal Hinojos is a Colorado Native who works for Tammara Bauer of Altus Law Group. Tammara has been an Elder Law attorney for the last 12 years and serves a back-up magistrate in Commerce City. Working under Tammara, Crystal is responsible for all active probate, guardian and conservatorship cases for Altus Law.
Crystal attended Front Range Community College and earned her A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies in 2008.
She has eight years in Bankruptcy Law having worked with a US Trustee and one of Colorado’s leading bankruptcy firms. She also has experience in Personal Injury, Family Law and most recently Probate, Guardian and Conservatorships. She has served as a Notary for the State of Colorado since January of 2008 and participates in CLE’s on a regular basis.
Crystal belongs to a monthly networking group called Cocktails and Connections. This is a group of professionals who specifically work with the elder community. They discuss new ideas and often provide referrals to each other. I have an outgoing positive personality and enjoy meeting other professionals. Crystal prides herself on her continued desire to learn.

Jodi Guiterrez currently works at the Denver City Attorney’s Office in the Adult Protection/Probate Unit, while at the City she also worked previously in the gang section. Prior to joining the City, she was employed with a local firm – in the Probate, Estate Planning and Landlord/Tenant Area. Her past experience also includes insurance defense work, and interning at the Colorado Legal Services NFA Denver Legal Aid Society. Her current duties involve preparing legal documents and pleadings required for adult guardianships and other protective orders, prior to and after Probate Court hearings.
Jodi has a passionate interest in RMPA’s Probate Section – which is driven not only from her previous experience but her current interest and experience. She has served on 2 boards, which included a Treasurer position for 4-years and a Co-Chair position. She’s also been an active PTA Member, team mom and room mother for both her children.
Jodi is ready to jump into this role, representing the vision and purpose of RMPA. Her experience, leadership skills and passion for the probate section will make her a valuable addition as Co-Chair.
